Alessandro Cavallo, Béjart Ballet Lausanne

Born in Brindisi, Italy, Alessandro began his dance training in 2011 at the Accademia Tersicore, under the direction of Antonella Di Lecce. In 2016, he graduated from the Marika Besobrasova Foundation, and that same year was awarded a scholarship by Piotr Nardelli to attend the IBstage in Barcelona. e then entered the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala in Milan, where he appeared in numerous performances.

In 2017, his talent was recognized with the prestigious Marika Besobrasova Gala Award. Two years later, in 2019, he joined the Balletto del Sud, directed by Fredy Franzutti, as a Soloist.

Alessandro came to public attention in 2021, when he was finalist of the famous Italian talent show “Amici” di Maria De Filippi. That same year marked a turning point in his career, as he joined Béjart Ballet Lausanne, where he performed major roles in emblematic works from the company’s repertoire, including “7 Danses Grecques”, “Bhakti III”, “Concerto en ré” and “Le Presbytère”.

In 2024, he was invited to perform at the prestigious “World Ballet Festival” in Tokyo, showing his status as one of the most talented dancers of his generation.
